Controlled responsiveness

Who is this mission aimed at?

All dogs that, while on a leash during a walk, exhibit mild, marked, or intense reactivity:

  • Strong pressure on the leash, vocalizations (whining, barking), growling, charging or jumping towards the trigger.

  • Signs of stress (teeth chattering, panting, ears pinned back, tail down, rigid body)

  • reaction triggered by one or more stimuli (another dog, person, squirrels, bicycle, car…)

The emotional challenge of the reactive dog
When the dog loses control, it goes through a real emotional crisis:

  • Overwhelmed by fear or frustration, he loses his ability to regulate himself.

  • The leash restricts its movements and can increase its anxiety.

  • This is not an act of insubordination, but an instinctive response to emotional overload.

Our goal is to promote an empathetic and constructive approach, based on:

  1. Understanding emotions

    • decoding the signs before the crisis

    • supporting the dog in its emotional regulation

  2. Positive training

    • reinforce calm and attentive behavior

    • to offer gradual and fun exercises

  3. Gradual autonomy

    • reduce the animal's stress level

    • to develop the dog's confidence in the face of its triggers

The levels

You must register before accepting the mission. Each mission must be completed in order, starting with the first. You cannot skip missions or start in the middle: the four missions are sequential and complementary.
